Brian, I just wanted to make you aware of some great customer service by ARCO. On Monday of this week your technician Paul was at our house getting the furnace ready for winter. When he left both he and Marla thought the A/C was back up and running. Regardless, last night about 7:00pm as we were putting my son to bed, we noticed our house was exceptionally warm. I looked at the thermostat and it read 78 degrees. The AC was on but nothing was blowing out of the registers.
Being in the service business ourselves, I despise calling for emergency service unless truly necessary. But with our 16 month old trying to fall asleep upstairs I felt I should call.
After back and forth conversations with your office, they were able to dispatch Paul back to our home at about 9:00pm. He was able to see that a fuse in the furnace was blown. He replaced the fuse and this one blew. He determined there was a short in the line going to the new AC unit ARCO installed that fires up the compressor outside.
He and I ran a whole new line rather than trace out the short and the system fired right up.
I wanted to thank him for coming out late at night and sticking with it to get us up and running. There were a few loose ends that need to be cleaned up today or Tuesday, but at least we have AC through the long weekend.
