Arco’s 20-point Check List Will Keep Your Air Conditioner Working All Summer
A customer called us for an air conditioner cleaning as part of our maintenance program. We came out and provided a detailed tune-up for her system.
Just like any other piece of machinery, an air conditioner needs to be regularly checked to make sure it continues to run smoothly. This is especially the case if your unit is eight years or older. If you ignore maintenance, your air conditioner will be at risk for developing several types of problems, including refrigerant leaks, damaged wires, dirty air filters and much more.
You don’t want anything to happen to your cooling system in the middle of summer, and we don’t want that to happen to you either. That’s why, here at Arco, we use a 20-point checklist while servicing your unit, leaving nothing to chance.
Here is just a sampling of what we’ll do when we arrive:
Visually inspect the outside unit for damage
Check all the safety controls
Inspect the fan belts and blades
Check refrigerant pressure and levels
Inspect and lubricate all moving parts.
