Air Conditioner Not Blowing Air in Cleveland Heights, OH

There Are Repairs You Can Try Before Calling a Professional

This is a common issue that faces many of the people who call us at Arco. Some of the causes are minor enough to where you could take care of them on your own, whether or not you have any experience. Others, however, will have to be repaired by a professional. If you have this issue, try the following first before you call a technician.

Check to see if you have a dirty air filter. If your filter is clogged with debris, air will not be able to circulate through your system and into your ductwork. As a result, your home will not be properly cooled. Try to remember to change or clean your filter every month during the summer to reduce the chances that dust and other contaminants can clog your system.

See if the outside unit, also known as the condenser, is dirty. Debris can also get on the coils and keep air from flowing freely. Try to keep the condenser clear of weeds and shrubbery.
Make sure all of your vents are open as well as your dampers.

If you are still having a problem after trying these troubleshooting steps, call Arco today!
